I have tried it out on quite a few of the public missions available in Litchi Mission Hub and in areas where the satellite imagery is good, the results are impressive. I have an XPS with 256MB GeForce 8600 GPU (8800 not yet available) on order. The resulting Virtual Mission can then be flown in Google Earth and should show results very similar to that obtained when the mission is flown with your drone. In fact, the Dassault guys made the models (the new Microsoft France Headquarters) with 3DVia so they showed me who’s boss. In the meantime, I’ll watch this video of what 3DVia can do and eat my sour grapes. A security issue has been identified that could allow elevation of privilege on virtual machines. use it you can organize all the information obtained in the real world but seen in 3D.
